Nipissing Game Farm Inc. is set on 100 acres of Northern Ontario farmland located near the shores of Lake Nipissing at rural Callander, Ontario.
The company was founded in 1972 and has thrived in the game bird business for the past 39 years. Ryckman Farms has been the main supplier of quail to the company for the last 6 years and this past April its owners, Scot and Cheryl Ryckman, purchased Nipissing Game Farm Inc. as well.
Nipissing Game Farm Inc. specializes in quail, quail products and cornish hens that are slaughtered and processed under the federal government agency known as CFIA.
Currently the business has 32 employees that are trained in the skill of slaughtering, processing and deboning of the quail and cornish hens.
